Professor Stefan Hedlund (UCRS Uppsala Centre for Russian and Eurasian Studies, Uppsala University) describes his research in the field of Russian and East European Studies. He spoke at the First Annual Tartu Conference organised around the theme "Europe under Stress: The End of a Common Dream?" on 12-14 June, 2016 which brought together over 200 participants across the world.

The UPTAKE conference series is  organized by the universities of Tartu, Uppsala and Kent, with support from the EU’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
